Interim IT Management
IT leadership on demand – with budget responsibility, strategic perspective and a hands-on mentality.
Services
- Less started at once, more finished – Limiting parallel tasks to ensure requirements are actually delivered
- Identify and remove bottlenecks – Where is work waiting? Where are decisions, resources or information missing?
- Measurably reduce lead times – From request to delivery
- Build in feedback loops – Catch mistakes early, before they reach the customer
- Continuous improvement – Not a one-off fix, but a sustainably implemented system
IT Sovereignty
IT sovereignty is not a state any company can fully achieve – it is a question of degree and priorities. In Austria and Europe, a certain level of dependency on global technology providers and non-European infrastructure services will always remain. MAD-IS does not promise the impossible.
We analyze existing IT infrastructure, identify vendor and regional dependencies, and outline options to increase sovereignty – with the clear understanding that more sovereignty typically means higher effort and cost.
The goal is not maximum sovereignty, but the right level of IT sovereignty for each company. MAD-IS helps identify business-critical core services and implements them as sovereignly as makes sense.
NIS2 Compliance & ISO 27001 Certification
NIS2 and ISO 27001 are no longer optional for many companies – they are mandatory. MAD-IS supports preparation and execution of certification projects:
- Gap analysis: Where does the company stand relative to NIS2 / ISO 27001?
- Establishing an Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- Documentation of policies, processes and evidence
- Audit support and remediation process
- Integration of compliance requirements into ongoing IT operations – without parallel structures
AI & Automation in IT Operations
As an integral part of Interim IT Management: Identifying automation opportunities, introducing AI-driven processes, and guiding digital transformation initiatives – always focused on measurable business value, security and technical feasibility.
Who this is for
- Companies in the IT leadership gap – too large for ad-hoc IT, too small for a full-time CIO
- Vacancy bridging, restructuring, growth, transformation
- Coaching new IT staff into their roles
- Organizations seeking to understand their IT dependencies and build sovereignty step by step
- Companies with concrete NIS2 or ISO 27001 compliance requirements
- Executives needing to implement unpopular measures that an internal cannot drive
